For educators and facilitators
Guide without taking over authorship
This is a writing journey, not a personality test or a collection of personal accounts. Each person creates their own text and decides whether, how, and with whom it circulates.
The example is fictional, contains no writing field, and saves nothing. Use it to explain the method before each person enters their own space.
What the essential route practices
- Establish a grounding: frame a scene through something that can be seen, heard, or touched.
- Shift the view: introduce doubt, change, another voice, or a power relationship.
- Leave it open: finish without manufacturing triumph, total coherence, or a definitive promise.
- Compose: turn the three excerpts into at least three parts and reread the draft as its author.
Before you begin, say this out loud
You do not have to choose the hardest story. You may change details, write through an image or character, skip any invitation, and stop whenever you want. No one has to read their text aloud. The app does not give your writing to the person leading the activity.
A 45-minute session
- 5 min · agreement: authorship, the right to pass, fiction, and where the text stays — in each participant's account. Ask participants to create their accounts before the session: registration has a global hourly limit, and a whole group signing up live may reach it.
- 15 min · three excerpts: scene, shift of view, and an open ending.
- 10 min · composition: three parts and a full individual reading.
- 5 min · revision: does the text still sound like mine? What do I want to remove?
- 10 min · optional conversation: share the process, never require the content.
Dilemma, interview, and lenses are deeper explorations. They do not all fit in one session and should not become unfinished assignments.
Participation without invading the text
If the institution requires attendance, the completion receipt contains no answers. Do not grade autobiographical content, word count, or lens results. To assess learning, ask for a separate reflection on the method: how the person grounded the scene, shifted the view, and decided what to leave open.
How to use it with a group
- Before the session Open the demonstration on the shared screen and ask people to create accounts individually, without collecting passwords or texts.
- While writing Make headphones available for dictation, offer paper as an alternative, and never walk around reading screens.
- In conversation Invite comments about the process. Reading a memory aloud is always optional.
- Afterwards Remind everyone they may export, continue, or delete what they saved. Do not request a copy of the book as proof of participation.
The cultural scope of this version
The current experience was written in Brazilian Portuguese for adults, whether used individually, with family, or with a facilitator. Bringing it to another language or territory requires reviewing language, references, privacy, voice, and support contacts — not merely translating it literally.
